Who we are
Indext Data Lab DOO (“Indext Data Lab,” “Indext,” “we,” “us”) is a software and data engineering company based in Belgrade, Serbia. Our address is Cara Lazara 5-7, 11000 Belgrade, Serbia.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through indext.io and through our forms on LinkedIn, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. For privacy questions and requests, use the contact form at the bottom of this page or the project form on our home page: indext.io/#project-brief.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this website, we collect your name, email address, company or product website (if you share it), your answers to the form’s questions (for example, your product’s stage, your budget or how you heard about us) and your message. A submission also records the page it was sent from and, if there was one, the ad or campaign link (UTM tags) that brought you to the site.
LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms. When you submit one of our forms on LinkedIn, LinkedIn sends us the details you see in the form before you submit it: usually your first and last name, email address, company name and job title (pre-filled from your LinkedIn profile; you can edit them), your answers to our questions, the form and campaign it came from, and the time you submitted it. LinkedIn’s own use of your data is covered by the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
Information collected automatically. When you visit this site, we and the providers listed in section 3 collect usage information through the technologies described below. Optional analytics and advertising technologies follow your cookie choices; basic cookieless measurements remain enabled as explained in section 4. The information collected can include: pages viewed, links clicked, your browser and device type, approximate location based on your IP address, the website, ad or campaign link (UTM tags) that brought you here, and whether you sent a form. Microsoft Clarity also records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can find usability problems.
We don’t ask for payment details, government ID numbers or other sensitive information on this website.
2. How we use information
If you are in the EU, the UK or Serbia, these are our legal grounds: taking the steps you ask for before a possible contract (replying to you, the call, the scope and the price); carrying out a contract once we work together; meeting legal duties such as accounting; and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, measuring our ads and keeping the site free of spam. Where the law requires your consent, for example for optional analytics and advertising technologies or marketing emails, we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run this site and our business, with professional advisers when needed, or when the law requires it. Our main providers:
If we sign a contract with you through Upwork, Upwork’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to that contract and its payments.
Optional analytics and advertising technologies are controlled through our cookie settings. Section 4 explains which providers are enabled by each choice and which cookieless measurements remain active.
4. Cookies and your choices
We use cookies, browser storage, pixels and similar technologies. You can reject optional technologies, accept all, or choose Analytics and Advertising separately in our cookie banner. Open “Cookie settings” to review or change your choice. We remember your choice in this browser for 180 days.
Essential functions — including forms, spam protection, security and remembering your privacy choice — remain available. Basic cookieless site statistics from Tilda and Cloudflare also remain enabled.
Analytics. Google Analytics cookie storage and Ahrefs analytics are enabled when you select Analytics.
Advertising. Google advertising cookie storage, advertising data use and personalization, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag are enabled when you select Advertising. The LinkedIn tag helps measure advertising and build audiences of website visitors.
Microsoft Advertising UET and its associated Clarity analytics load only when both Analytics and Advertising are enabled.
Google Consent Mode. Before you choose, and when a category is off, the corresponding Google consent settings are denied. Google may still receive limited cookieless measurement signals. Rejecting optional technologies does not stop all Google network requests.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Advertising remains off. Turning off a previously enabled category reloads the page to stop technologies already running. If you have unsent form details, we ask before reloading. Changing your choice affects subsequent collection; it does not delete information already received by us or our providers.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings and manage personalized advertising through the providers’ settings:

Your choice on this website does not control LinkedIn’s own services or the details you choose to submit through a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form.
5. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for up to 12 months after our last contact if we don’t start working together. If we do, we keep them for as long as the engagement lasts and afterward for as long as accounting and legal rules require. Analytics and advertising providers keep data according to their own settings and policies.
6. How we protect it
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of sending or storing data over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us:
In the EU, the UK and Serbia, you can also object to how we use your information, ask us to limit its use, ask for your data in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you gave us. You can complain to your local data protection authority. In Serbia, that is the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
In the United States, depending on your state (for example, California, Virginia or Colorado), local law may give you similar rights to know, access, correct and delete your information and to opt out of targeted advertising (see section 4). We honor requests those laws cover, and we won’t treat you differently for making one.
How to make a request. Send us a message through the contact form at the bottom of this page or the project form at indext.io/#project-brief, and start it with “Privacy request.” We’ll reply within 30 days. Before we act on a request, we may need to confirm it came from you, for example by writing to the email address we have on file.
8. Where data is processed
We are based in Serbia. Our providers may process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries.
9. Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
10. Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as Upwork, Clutch, LinkedIn and GitHub. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their own policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or providers change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version.

- Telegram — instant notifications to our team when a new inquiry arrives.
- Zoho Mail — our business email.
- Google — Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads (site analytics, ad measurement and remarketing), and Google Fonts (the fonts this site uses).
- LinkedIn — Insight Tag and Lead Gen Forms (ad measurement, remarketing and lead forms).
- Microsoft — Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics and session replay) and Microsoft Advertising with its UET tag (ad measurement).
- Ahrefs — website traffic analytics.
- Cloudflare — website performance and traffic analytics.
If we sign a contract with you through Upwork, Upwork’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to that contract and its payments.
